The role of conductivity meter calibration in environmental protection
With the development of the times, the application of conductivity meters is becoming more and more extensive, which is inseparable from the importance of conductivity: conductivity represents the conductivity of various ions in aqueous solution, which can be used to represent the total amount of various ions, simplifying the detection method, and can be measured online to monitor the working condition of the water treatment system at any time. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia UPS24 stipulates that the pharmaceutical water produced and used on-site uses conductivity determination to replace the five tests of chloride, salt, calcium salt, ammonia and carbon dioxide, which shows the importance of conductivity detection. The newly installed online conductivity meter, since the host and conductivity cell are new, is estimated to have no major problems after on-site installation and commissioning by the manufacturer, and its accuracy is relatively reliable. After a series of treatments such as source water storage tank, source water pump, medicine box, metering pump, mechanical filter, activated carbon filter, water softener, fine filter and high-pressure pump, the raw water enters the reverse osmosis host. The main part of the reverse osmosis host of the water system is the reverse osmosis membrane assembly. The residual reverse osmosis reference water temperature is 25℃, and the water utilization rate should reach 70% to 75%. When the manufacturer's engineers are installing and debugging, they will set a conductivity detection range and measurement points for the online conductivity meter. After a series of preliminary treatments, the water will be tested for the first time in this link (the first time is the conductivity test of raw water). When the online conductivity meter has been running for a long time, especially when the conductivity cell is immersed in water for a long time, it is easy to age. In this way, measurement errors will occur, resulting in a large waste of water. It is particularly important today when water conservation is advocated.
